I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by conscious endeavor.
— Henry David Thoreau

I have a passion for creativity and curiosity for it's meaning and place. And through the beginning stages of my enthusiastic research of this very topic I have come to realize that you don't have to look far to experience creative endeavours; it is a part of our daily lives. Sometimes it's subtle and sometimes it's quite obvious. From magazines to the mail you receive, from packaging of products you buy to the very products themselves, from the websites to the software you use; the architecture that surrounds you to the presentation and combinations of food that we are served by chefs and to the innovators and inventors.  Creativity is a part of us, it is a medium of expression.  It is used to express views and inform, it is used to evoke emotions and sentiment, it is used to propagate and sometimes it is used simply to be seen and left for the observer to contemplate and discover what it means to them.

It seeps into every corner of our lives whether we realize it or not. The mere definition of creativity is the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc. And let’s face it…that can be applied almost anywhere and in almost all situations. I think creativity is essential in life; it helps us move forward and progress. Creative expression is something we all crave, it is the voice from our souls.  This is what I want to discover and share here.

Along with that I hope a more insightful and soulful conversation and viewpoint is brought about where embracing our uniqueness also connects us as well.
